Scottish Government report on the characteristics of migrants in Scotland

Today the Scottish Government has published a report that presents findings from the analysis of Scotland's Census 2011 on the characteristics and experiences of recent and established migrants in Scotland. This can be viewed and downloaded on the Scottish Government website.

The report looks at people resident in Scotland who were born in EEA and non-EEA countries and who arrived in the UK before 2001 or in 2001 or later. It covers a range of topics, including country of origin and length of residence; personal and household characteristics (including language); area and accommodation; education and employment; and health.

Information on other reports using Scotland's Census 2011 data can be seen on the Analytical Reports page.
